Become involved with the Colchester business group to support the NSPCC. We’d love to hear how you and your company can help raise money for the NSPCC.

There are two ways to get involved: support us as an associate member, or join the committee and help come up with new fund-raising ideas.

The NSPCC is hoping that corporate groups will form throughout the UK to raise funding for children in their own communities. We are willing to support the NSPCC by providing advice and assistance having been through the process ourselves when setting up in Colchester in 2008. Currently, CHELMSFORD is an area that is struggling. If you are a business based in or around Chelmsford and are looking to support a worthy local cause them please get in touch with Katie.

The NSPCC is also looking to recruit local businesses into the 1600 Club which will help raise money for the Child’s Voice Appeal. This focuses on the need for more Volunteeer ChildLine Counsellors and the cost of training. It costs £1,600 to train a new volunteer ChildLine Counsellor and we would like to be able to pay for 30 more to be trained within the next six months. We are committed to recruiting a minimum of 30 companies to take part in this.

By associating with one of the UK’s best known charities that’s supported by millions, you’ll be helping to raise your profile by high PR exposure and recognition of your company or organisation. Each company will have full NSPCC support and we can also help with some great fundraising ideas, such as Quiz nights, Cake Sales, and many more. We can even provide NSPCC balloons, stickers, T-shirts and badges to help get the message across.
