The Colchester NSPCC Business Group marked Childhood Day with a teddy bear extravaganza in Culver Square Shopping Centre in Colchester on Friday, June 10, 2022. Shoppers were invited to visit the Teddy Bear stand, see the unique collection of NSPCC bears and to buy a bear.
Each of the exclusive bears were generously provided by Build a Bear Workshop and were available with a charming NSPCC bow. The event was a huge success – marking Childhood Day with the selling of dozens of bears helping to raise much-needed funds for the charity.
Childhood Day is a national event organised by the NSPCC with the aim of bringing everyone across the UK together to have fun and remember the importance of protecting children. Supporters of the charity are encouraged to fundraise, donate, volunteer or take action, to play their part to help keep children safe.
The Colchester NSPCC Business Group were delighted to host the event in Colchester to mark Childhood Day 2022. Childhood is such a precious time for everyone and forms the foundation of who we become as adults. Everyone should have the right to a safe and happy childhood, and the NSPCC help make that a reality.
